Abstract : با توجه به اهميت نقش دانشجو معلمان و مدرسان در پيشبرد برنامه هاي تعليم و تربيت، اين پژوهش به بررسي كيفيت برنامه تربيت دبير زبان انگليسي در دانشگاه فرهنگيان مي پردازد. مطالعه حاضر با استفاده از روش هاي كمي و كيفي و با استفاده از مشاهده، پرسشنامه و مصاحبه انجام پذيرفته است. پرسشنامه تجربه دانشجو (پيس و كو،1998) به 285 دانشجو و فارغ التحصيل ارائه گرديد. 70 مدرس به ارزشيابي از برنامه تربيت دبير پرداختند، 34 نفر از مدرسان چك ليست ( 2007) CIPP را نمره گذاري نمودند، و با پنج نفر از مدرسان نيز مصاحبه به عمل آمد. برنامه تربيت دبير بر اساس مدل CIPP از چهار بعد شامل اهداف ، محتواي دوره، فعاليت هاي ياد دهي و يادگيري و ارزشيابي كلي از برنامه مورد بررسي قرار گرفت. روش هاي تجزيه و تحليل داده ها شامل آمار توصيفي و تحليل اسناد مكتوب موجود در اين زمينه مي باشد. نتايج اين تحقيق نشان دهنده رضايتمندي نسبي دانشجو معلمان و فارغ التحصيلان از برنامه تربيت دبير و نگرش مثبت آنها نسبت به سودمندي دوره هاي كارورزي مي باشد. تحليل پرسشنامه مدرسان نشان داد كه برنامه تربيت دبير زبان انگليسي تا حدودي به اهداف خود در زمينه آماده سازي دبيراني كه بتوانند نيازهاي شغلي خود را تامين نمايند، نائل آمده است. اگرچه نتايج همچنين بيانگر وجود تناقضاتي بين نيازهاي واقعي دانشجو معلمان و محتواي دوره هاي ارائه شده مي باشد. نتايج حاصل از تحقيق حاضر، توصيه هايي جهت پيشبرد برنامه تربيت دبير از طريق بازنگري در نيازهاي شغلي دانشجو معلمان و نيز ايجاد تغييراتي در محتواي دوره ارائه مي نمايد.
: Since students and teachers have important roles in improving the quality of education programs, this study examined teacher education program in Farhngian University. This triangulated research design included both quantitative and qualitative methods in which observation, survey questionnaire, and semi-structured interviews were used. College student experiences questionnaire (Pace & Kuh, 1998) was administered 285 prospective teachers and graduates. Seventy instructors answered a researcher–made program evaluation questionnaire, 34 instructors rated the context, input, process, and product (CIPP) evaluation checklist (Stufflebeam, 2007), and interviews were conducted with five instructors. Based on the CIPP model, the education program was examined from the four main aspects including the stated objectives, the content of the course, the current process including teaching/learning activities, and overall program assessment. Data analysis methods included descriptive statistics and analysis of written documents. The findings indicated that prospective teachers and graduates were relatively satisfied with the program and reflected positive attitudes towards the productivity of the practicum courses. In addition, analyses of the instructors’ questionnaires revealed that the program accomplished its goals in preparing qualified English teachers to meet the needs of the workplace. However, the findings also disclosed that there were some inconsistencies between the prospective teachers’ needs and the courses offered. The findings suggested recommendations for the improvement of the EFL teacher education program through reconsidering the prospective teachers’ professional needs and making some modifications to the content of the courses offered.
